The Football Association of Singapore expresses our condolences to the family of Arif Aiman Norman. Aged 16, the Naval Base Secondary student died in a car crash in Johor Baru on 30 June 2018 while reportedly on a trip to play in an Under-16 football match.

FAS President Mr Lim Kia Tong said: “I am saddened to hear about this tragic news, especially so the accident involved young boys whose purpose for the trip to Malaysia is to play the beautiful game of football.
“The FAS and the Singapore football fraternity mourn the passing of Arif Aiman and our deepest condolences to his family.
“Our prayers also for the speedy recovery of those injured, including the 23-year driver.”
