SINGAPORE, 30 NOVEMBER 2015: The 2015 Great Eastern-Yeo's S.League came to an official conclusion this evening as the annual S.League Awards Night was held to recognise the achievements of clubs and individuals who excelled in the league’s 20th season. A total of 11 awards were presented at the Marina Bay Sands, including the Young Player of the Year to Brunei DPMM FC’s Azwan Ali, Coach of the Year to his coach Steve Kean, and Player of the Year to Fumiya Kogure of Albirex Niigata FC (S).

Pahang give LionsXII a guard of honour

SINGAPORE, 28 NOVEMBER 2015: The LionsXII concluded its season with a 2-0 win over defending champions Pahang in the second leg of the 2015 Malaysia Cup quarter-final, but lost 3-4 on aggregate.

Despite the LionsXII’s determination, it was never an easy task to overturn a three-goal deficit against Pahang, one of the top teams in Malaysia, which is seeking to clinch its third Malaysia Cup in a row after its triumphs in 2013 and 2014.

SINGAPORE, 25 NOVEMBER 2015: Following a series of discussions over the past one year – with the most recent meeting held in Kuala Lumpur earlier this month – the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) informed us earlier this evening that they would not renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which was signed in 2011.

SINGAPORE, 21 NOVEMBER 2015: The 20th season of the Great Eastern-Yeo’s S.League came to an exciting climax today as the title was once again – for the third time in four years – decided on the final day of the season. For only the second time in the league’s history, a foreign club was crowned league champions as Brunei DPMM FC made amends for last season’s heartbreak following an emphatic 4-0 victory over Balestier Khalsa FC in Bandar Seri Begawan.

When Singapore held much-heralded Japan to a 0-0 draw in June, a crowd of more than 57,000 fans at the Saitama Stadium were shocked into silence. However, a small group of people were cheering wildly at the final whistle – a group made up mostly of Singaporeans working or studying in Japan, or the spouses of Singaporeans.

One fan, however, had flown six and a half hours and over 5,000km from Singapore to cheer his nation on: lecturer and businessman Tan Hwee Heng.

    SINGAPORE, 18 MAY 2015: The Football Association of Singapore would like to congratulate Coach Mohamed Zainudeen Hassan and the Singapore Cerebral Palsy Football Team for winning the 25th Korea Annual National CP Football Tournament.

    Our boys were one of eight teams in the tournament which also featured six Korean clubs and a Japanese team. Our team won the tournament with a hard-fought 1-0 triumph in the final.

    SINGAPORE, 17 MAY 2015: The Football Association of Singapore wishes to assure the public that both the LionsXII team and the Singapore fans who travelled to Kuala Terengganu to support them in their Malaysia FA Cup semi-final second leg match are safe and sound, thanks to the local authorities who looked after them at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium after the game.

    Baihakki’s surprise visit delights national cerebral palsy football team

    Singapore international Baihakki Khaizan paid a surprise visit to the National Cerebral Palsy Football team during their training session at Hong Kah Secondary School on Saturday afternoon.
