Stange Calls For Focus Ahead Of Brunei Friendly

Singapore national coach Bernd Stange stressed the importance of remaining focused ahead of the team’s final friendly match before the Lions start their World Cup Qualifiers. 

The Lions will host Brunei at the Jurong East Stadium on Saturday evening, before facing Cambodia on 8 June and Japan on 16 June in the qualifiers.

SINGAPORE, 25 May 2015 – The Football Association of Singapore would like to announce that two friendly internationals have been lined up for the Singapore National ‘A’ Team as part of their preparations for their upcoming FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in June.

The Lions will play an away friendly against Bangladesh at the Banghabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on 30 May at 8pm (Singapore time).

SINGAPORE, 24 APRIL 2015: National defender Safuwan Baharudin will be returning to Singapore after an injury forced him to end his loan move to Melbourne City FC (MCFC).

The 24-year-old, who joined the A-League club in January on a three-month deal, has been ruled out of the rest of MCFC's season because of a back injury.
