The Footballl Association of Singapore (FAS) invites application for the positions of:

1. Community Outreach Officer

Responsible for the full spectrum of community outreach programmes, attendance driving initiative and volunteer management

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive Community Outreach Programme for FAS and S.League Clubs aimed at:
    • Increasing outreach activities in their respective neighbourhoods
    • Enhancing awareness and building affiliation between the club and its community as well as the National Teams
    • Driving attendance to S.League matches, international and FAS / S.League events
  • Implement, monitor and review the Community Outreach Programme for all S.League Clubs to ensure that it fulfils the stated objectives.
  • Work closely with the S.League clubs to ensure that they achieve their respective community and attendance KPIs.
  • Collate a database of community partners that FAS and S.League clubs can collaborate with for their community outreach activities and attendance driving efforts.
  • Build strong relations with key community partners (e.g. MCYS, PA, SSC, CCAB, Schools, etc) so as to increase the support for S.League and other international football matches, as well as support for FAS / S.League events.
  • Develop a comprehensive Volunteer Management Programme with the objective of:
    • Increasing the pool of community volunteers and raise their profile
    • Increasing the capacity and capabilities of existing volunteers through training and development and by providing them a clear pathway
    • Incentive system to reward and retain FAS’ volunteers
    • To grow and deliver the best participation experience in football at all levels for the broader benefit of the Singapore Community
  • To promote grassroots and community football and identify areas to target increased participation in children and adult football and to implement the various programmes including physically-challenged Singaporeans and schools that do not provide football as a CCA.
  • Implement, manage and review the Volunteer Management Programme to ensure that it fulfils the stated objectives.

Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree holder
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to interact well with all level of staff
  • Fast learner and able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Experience in working with and organising volunteer-related activities will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Singaporeans / SPRs only

2. Executive Officer, Technical Department

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement FAS’ Women’s and Grassroots football development programmes;
  • Manage and organise all FAS’ Women’s and Grassroots carnivals, tournaments, courses, seminars and workshops;
  • Plan and monitor budgets for various programmes;
  • Work closely with CCAB (MOE), PA, CDCs to promote the development of Women’s and Grassroots football in schools and community;
  • Any other duties as assigned by General Secretary

Requirements:
  • Sound academic background and organisational skills;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Familiarity, knowledge and experience of women’s and grassroots development programmes would be an advantage;
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

3. Corporate Communications Manager

Reporting to the FAS General Secretary, you will be responsible for managing full spectrum of FAS / S.League communications functions, including conceptualization and implementation of creative media and communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a communications strategy and implement a proactive media and communications plan aligned with FAS corporate business goals and objectives
  • Act as resource of communications expertise and guidance.
  • Plan, develop and execute corporate communications and marketing programs to improve FAS relations with stakeholders
  • Interact with media and represent the FAS point of view on issues of importance to stakeholders
  • Manage and foster strong collaborative media relations
  • Implement corporate internal and external communication policies, strategy and guidance.

Pre-requisites
  • Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Journalism or related discipline
  • At least 2 years of working experience in corporate communications or media environment
  • Strong at pitching stories to the media


4. Marketing Manager (Business Development)

Responsible for : Assist in marketing FAS and S.League football brands to commercial partners, and planning and implementing strategic marketing and communications initiatives for FAS to meet business and football objectives.
  1. Assist in identifying, developing and securing commercial partners for S.League and FAS.
  2. Build up good local industry and market intelligence by constantly monitoring overall market conditions and keeping abreast of competitors' products, services and activities.
  3. Assist in identifying and implementing commercial value creation to enhance sponsorship returns for our business partners.
  4. Capture the commercial exposure of our business partners in the mass media and ensure the timely preparation of sponsorship reports.
  5. Formulate and implement strategic marketing plans and oversee all necessary activities to fulfil strategic objectives.
Job Requirements :
  1. Minimum Bachelor degree qualifications in Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
  2. 8 year(s) or more of working experience in a related field in Marketing.
  3. An outgoing and versatile self-starter with strong leadership qualities and good business acumen.
  4. Strong and equipped with interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  5. Able to multi-task, work independently and effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
