*UPDATE, adds first two pars*
Home United's Juma'at Jantan has been added to the 21-man Singapore Under-23 squad to play the Malaysia Olympic Team on Wednesday and the Indonesia Under-23 Team on Sunday.
Both Baihakki Khaizan and Tengku Mushadad will not be making the trip to Jakarta for the match on 3 June due to National Service commitments.
Three players from league leaders Home United – including exciting 20-year-old forward Goh Swee Swee – have been called up to the Singapore Under-23 squad to play the Malaysia Olympic Team at the Jurong West Stadium on Wednesday 30 May, and the Indonesia Under-23 Team in Jakarta on Sunday 3 June.
The match against our Causeway rivals kicks off at 7pm at the new home ground of S.League side Gombak United. Admission to the match is FREE.
Goh and the two Shahrils – Shahril Ishak and Shahril Alias – are in the shortlist of 21 players named by the national selectors.
It is a first call up to the U-23s for Goh as well as Young Lions trio Jasper Chan, Ridhwan Jamaludin and Erwan Gunawan.
Two players from Gombak United – the Bulls’ club captain Sevki Sha’ban and forward Agu Casmir – also make the squad.
The Tampines Rovers duo of Shariff Samat and Ridhuan Muhamad will join the squad following the match against the Malaysia Olympic Team due to club commitments. The Stags have been scheduled to play Brunei’s DPMM FC in a RHB Singapore Cup preliminary round match on 31 May.
