Team Manager, Junior/National Development Centre

Job Summary

The Development Centres (Junior National Development Centres (JNDC) and National Development Center (NDC)), under the supervision of the FAS, aim to develop future Singapore National Team players who will not only represent Singapore but also raise the level of our National Teams.


Reporting to the Senior Head, Technical Administration, the Development Centre Team Manager is responsible for the operational and administrative management of the Junior National Development Centres (JNDC) and National Development Center (NDC). The role extends to supporting FAS Youth National Teams.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with the FAS, football clubs, football academies, schools, SportSG, MCCY, and other relevant parties to facilitate player release for local and international matches. Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Schedule Planning: Collaborate with the FAS Technical Department, JNDC, NDC, and National Team coaches to develop annual training and competition schedules, considering school and international competition calendars.
  • Strategic Direction: Work closely with coaches of FAS Technical Director, JNDC, NDC, and FAS Youth National Teams to provide strategic input for player development.
  • Facilities & Equipment: Ensure all necessary facilities and equipment are available for NDC and JNDC training sessions.

Logistics Officer, National Development Centre

Job Summary


The Logistics Officer is responsible for effectively managing and maintaining sports equipment and gear for Junior National Development Centres (JNDC), National Development Center (NDC), and Youth National Teams. Reporting to the Senior Head, Technical Administration, the role includes inventory control, preparation for training and matches, and logistics support for overseas tours. The role extends to supporting FAS Youth National Teams.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Equipment Management: Take custody and responsibility for all equipment and supplies, ensuring they are secure and properly maintained.
  • Preparation & Cleanup: Prepare training and match gear before events and ensure they are correctly stored or cleaned afterwards.
  • Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is in usable condition and is clean, performing minor repairs if necessary.
  • Logistics for Overseas Tours: Prepare and pack all necessary equipment and supplies for overseas tournaments and training tours.
  • Transport Assistance: Assist in transporting team equipment and supplies domestically and internationally.
  • Team-Specific Responsibilities: Primarily responsible for JNDC, NDC, and, at times, assigned to Youth National Teams.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the equipment and apparel stock inventory across FAS venues and storage locations.

Staff Coach, National Women’s Youth Teams (Project Basis)

Job Summary

The FAS is looking for staff coaches to be part of the various National Women’s Youth Teams (Under-19, Under-16 and Under-14). Reporting to the Technical Director, and the Head Coach, Women’s National ‘A’ Team, the Staff Coach, National Women’s Teams is responsible for the preparation of the respective National Women’s Teams.

Job Description

  • Plan and strategise the performance of the National Women’s Youth Teams with the target of meeting performance targets of all international and regional.
  • Responsible for selecting players, planning and implementing effective training programmes and coordinating programmes and activities and commitments of the Teams in consultation with the Technical Director and other National coaches of youth.

Executive, Competitions (SYL)

Job Summary


Reporting directly to the Senior Manager (Competitions), the Executive (Competitions) shall be responsible for the daily administration of the Singapore Youth League and/or other tournaments under the purview of the Department. The Executive (Competitions) is also required to assist in the planning and execution of football events and projects.

  • Perform the role of Competition Manager for Singapore Youth League or any other assigned portfolio.


  • Scheduling and drafting of domestic competition formats and league fixtures as directed.

Senior Executive, National Teams Management

Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Head, Technical Administration, the Senior Executive, National Teams Management will provide leadership, administrative and organisational support towards the management of all FAS National Teams, including the National Youth Teams and the Young Lions.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


  • To provide leadership and administrative support for the National Teams department’s liaison with Clubs, Schools, MINDEF, MHA, SportSG, SNOC, MCCY, and other relevant stakeholders for the release of players for international and local matches and develop positive relationships.


  • Work closely with Technical Department and National Team coaches to develop annual training and competitions schedule taking into consideration the FIFA Calendar for international competitions under FIFA, AFC and AFF.


  • To work closely with the respective National Teams coaches & the Football Development & Excellence Committee to provide strategic directions for the National Teams.


  • To facilitate and ensure all required facilities and equipment are available for the Teams’ programmes.


  • To ensure that the necessary applications and documents are completed and submitted on time to continue being eligible for Singapore Sports Institute (SSI) supporting services.

Referee Development Officer

Job Summary

The Referee Development Officer (RDO) will assist in the administrative operations of the Referees Department (RD), while reporting to the Lead, Development (Referees).

The RDO shall support and develop all levels and areas of refereeing in accordance with the objectives of the RD and FAS.

The RDO will assist in the completion of special projects such as referee courses and workshops, including planning of training and cohesion programmes for our match officials and referee coaches. Ensure procurement procedures and financial regulations are strictly adhered to in relation to RD purchases.


Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain a database of all referees including their pathways, assessments, feedback, classifications, certifications, and accurate contact information

• Work with the Lead Development, to facilitate programmes and the overall well-being of the match officials, as well as communicate effectively with the stakeholders, leagues, and football community

Reporting to the General Secretary/Deputy General Secretary, the Manager, IR&SM will work to develop and streamline the FAS’s strategic functions of the FAS which include but not limited to funding-related activities, fostering partnerships and engagements with key international stakeholders such FIFA, AFC, AFF and other Member Associations.
