Executive/Senior Executive, Human Capital

Job Summary

Reporting to the Deputy Director, HC & IT, the Executive/Senior Executive, Human Capital (HC) will be responsible for the full spectrum of HC operational functions including general office administration tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and selection processes, including preparation of employment letters and conducting orientation for new hires.
  • Review HC processes and update Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Staff benefits administration such as insurance budgeting, renewals and claims submission, leave records update and staff policy review.
  • Identify, review and implement staff training and development programmes to ensure effectiveness aligned to the organisational objectives.
  • Consolidate manpower planning and budgeting in relation to various departments.
  • Participate in staff satisfaction, salary and benefits surveys and review market data.
  • Plan staff events and recreational activities.
  • Handle staff employment pass, visa applications and renewals including tenancy agreements.
  • Liaise with Government agencies such as SportSG, MOM, MINDEF, WDA pertaining to employee matters as needed.
  • Assist to administer staff claims and support payroll processing by preparing payroll  and other related reports
  • Assist in the review of job descriptions at regular intervals and update in consultation with HODs.
  • Staff engagement to understand motivational levels of employees, foster positive attitude towards organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the maintenance, budgeting, planning and contracts renewal of office supplies and equipment, and housekeeping of office facilities.
  • Arrangement of documents/letters for mailing and couriers.
  • Participate in VIP protocol matters and perform match duties, where necessary.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Deputy Director, HC & IT and/or General Secretary.

Front Desk Executive

Job Summary

Reporting to the HC Deputy Director, the Front Desk Executive will provide front office reception and administrative support to the Association. The Front Desk Executive will also be required to assist in operational support during match days, and other events days where required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests / visitors
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate staff and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure cleanliness of reception area and meeting rooms
  • Provide accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Arrange courier services
  • Coordinate booking of meeting rooms
  • Administer meeting room reservations and support setup of amenities
  • Assist in the VIP Protocol matters
  • Perform other receptionist duties such as franking, filing, photocopying and faxing
  • Assist in any other matters

Job Summary

Assist the Head, Football Science and Medicine (FSAM) and Senior Physiotherapist in managing the FAS physiotherapy services in optimizing the physical health of FAS football players.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Manage and treat football injuries of football players by:

  • Assessing, examining and providing initial diagnosis of players’ injury.
  • Referring injured players to appropriate medical professionals accordingly.
  • Advising and planning appropriate treatment for players’ injury in consultation with Senior Physiotherapist.
  • Providing acute physiotherapy treatment.
  • Monitoring the progress of players’ recovery.
  • Communicating and advising with relevant medical professional, team officials, coaches, injured footballer and other relevant person on the management, prognosis and progression of players’ injury.

2. Provide On-Field coverage for selected women’s teams’ training and matches (including overseas assignments).

3. Assist with injury prevention management of selected teams through:

  • Injury surveillance and documentation.
  • Recommending and providing updated scientific information of specific football injuries and injury prevention strategies.
  • Educating football players and coaches on injury prevention and management strategies.
  • Working and liaising closely with other sports scientists appointed by FAS on areas of sports sciences (nutrition, exercise physiology etc.) for the support of teams’ physical training requirements, recovery needs and injury prevention strategies.

4. Any other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by the Head, FSAM, Technical Director and General Secretary.

Job Requirements


  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Physical Therapy/Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Sports Therapy, Physiotherapy Treatment
  • Ability to effectively recognize team/athlete needs and take on a number of roles
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Strength & Conditioning Coach

Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of Department, Football Science and Medicine or assigned, the Strength & Conditioning (S&C) Coach will work closely with the Football Fitness Coach and FAS Coaches to optimise the physical and fitness capacity of National footballers. The Strength & Conditioning Coach will establish and implement fitness, strength and conditioning programmes for the respective National Teams in consultation with the Football Fitness Coach or assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Operational

  • Develop, conduct and implement strength and conditioning programmes for National teams by:
    • Measuring, examining and assessing players’ and teams’ physical and fitness capacity and capability.
    • Report and interpret testing results timely to coaches and athletes, and assist coaches to make practical use of the results.
    • Planning and implementing appropriate fitness and conditioning programmes according to training and match requirements.
    • Monitoring progress of players’ and teams’ fitness and physical status.
    • Communicating and updating relevant sports science and medical professionals, team officials and coaches on the progress and outcome of players’ and teams’ physical and fitness status.
  • Plan, implement and conduct post-training and post-matches recovery programmes for assigned teams.
  • Assist with injury prevention and performance enhancement programmes of the National Team/s through:
      • Injury surveillance and documentation.
      • Recommending and providing updated scientific information of specific football injuries and injury prevention strategies and performance enhancement strategies.
      • Educating players and coaches on injury prevention and management strategies, including physical performance enhancement programmes and strategies.
  • Working and liaising closely with other sports scientists and medicinal personnel appointed by FAS in areas of nutrition, exercise physiology, rehabilitation among others for support of the teams’ physical training requirements, recovery needs and injury prevention strategies.
  • Assist with planning and promoting safe and healthy football sports.
  • Work closely with football medicine professionals to provide specific rehabilitation and conditioning programmes for injured players.

2. Strategic

  • Assist with planning, designing, organising and conducting Continue Education courses for FAS coaches, officials, exercise scientists and other relevant personnel in the areas of football fitness, strength and conditioning.
  • Lead research, development and innovation initiatives in S&C and other related areas of sport sciences.
  • Provide on-field coverage for selected training and matches of National Team/s (including overseas assignments).

3. Administrative

  • Assist with the administration of the FAS S&C facilities by ensuring cleanliness, all equipment are accounted for and maintenance schedules kept.
  • Assist with the administrative and programming aspects of internship programmes.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned.

4. Education

  • To develop and deliver educational materials, as well as to educate coaches, athletes and students through the means of workshops and courses.
  • To teach, mentor and supervise interns and trainees attached to Football Association of Singapore.


We are looking for individuals who are committed to the sporting success in high performance sport.

In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Academic qualification in Physical Education, Sport Science, Strength and Conditioning or equivalent.
  • Preferably with Certified strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (Level 2) certification.
  • At least 3 years of working experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, with strong background in the application of progressive, evidence-based S & C support to individual athletes, teams and coaches, in a high-performance sporting environment.
  • Good background knowledge and understanding of other sport science disciplines such as physiology, nutrition, exercise/sport rehabilitation, and biomechanics.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, effective negotiation and consultation skills open and dedicated to engaging in respectful and effective relationship building with stakeholders from diverse sports and backgrounds.
  • Ability to educate and motivate athletes and coaches to embrace scientific support
  • High levels of initiative and responsibility
