Ticket sales begin 20 October for AFC U23 Asian Cup Group H Qualifiers
SINGAPORE, 20 OCTOBER 2021 – With the necessary approvals obtained today from the authorities on spectator capacity and the safe management protocols of fans, tickets for Group H matches of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers will begin this afternoon at 4pm, with matchdays to be limited to a 1,000-spectator capacity. Interested fans may purchase tickets online via www.fas.org.sg/tickets.
The Singapore Under-22 Men’s National Team will begin their campaign on 25 October against Timor-Leste, before facing the Philippines three days later and defending champions Korea Republic on the 31st. All three matches will kick off at 8pm at Jalan Besar Stadium.
Match tickets will be made purchasable online and are priced at S$15.00 for adults and S$8.00 for children under 12 years of age, with each ticket allowing access to both matches per day. Kick off timings will be 5pm for the first match and 8pm for the second match. Any balance of tickets, dependent on online sales, will only be available for purchase at the Jalan Besar Stadium ticketing counter from 2pm on match day. However, fans are strongly urged to purchase tickets online in advance to avoid queues and ensure entry.
In line with the COVID-19 safe management measures, strict social distancing measures shall be enforced in seating plans and allocation. Food and drink are also not permitted in the stadium and all individuals are required to always wear their masks. While musical instruments shall not be permitted into the stadium, banners and flags which do not contravene security and/or regulatory measures may be allowed.
Fans will be issued a wrist tag, which allows re-entry for that match day, upon entering the stadium after showing proof of full vaccination* and completing the mandatory bag checks. Refunds will not be issued to those who fail to provide proof of vaccination. Children aged 12 and below must be accompanied by an adult who is fully vaccinated.
*A person is fully vaccinated after they have received the appropriate regimen of World Health Organisation Emergency Use Listing (WHO EUL) vaccines (e.g. Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty, Moderna, AstraZeneca-SKBio, Serum Institute of India, Janssen, Sinopharm, Sinovac-CoronaVac) including their respective duration post-vaccination for the vaccine to be fully effective.
