Children Invited to Participate in FIFA Grassroots Workshop and Festival

SINGAPORE, 6 NOVEMBER 2017: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) will hold the fourth FIFA Grassroots Workshop and Festival 2017 in Singapore from 22-26 November 2017. Children aged 12 and below are invited to join the practical sessions conducted by the Workshop participants.
Participants of the Workshop are all currently coaching at various grassroots centres and have undergone the FAS Grassroots Coaching Course. The practical sessions will cover themes such as small-sided games and organising grassroots sessions as well as festivals, and the Workshop will culminate in the Festival held on 26 November.
To engage more children through football, children aged 12 and below are invited to join the practical sessions and Festival so that they may experience playing football in a fun environment as advocated in the FAS Grassroots football philosophy. Participation is free, and interested participants are encouraged to register through [email protected] by Monday 13 November 2017. Alternatively, interested participants may report to the venue at least 15 minutes before each session starts.
