In line with the FAS Council’s vision to build a more inclusive Singapore football fraternity, the annual S.League Awards Night was expanded to recognise all involved in Singapore football. The football fraternity also commemorated FAS’ 125 years at the event, with attendees taking a trip down memory lane from 1950 till today with key figures of each time period.

Attendees of the event included FAS President Mr Lim Kia Tong and members from the FAS Council as well as former Councils, club representatives, sponsors, and representatives from the stakeholders of Singapore football.

Former National Team captain Samad Allapitchay said: “Tonight was a fitting way to celebrate 125 years of FAS. It was nice to see Prof Ho Peng Kee, John Koh and other familiar faces in the crowd. It was also very good to see long-time friends such as Lydia Lim-Goh being given an award showcasing the appreciation to staff from FAS. Thank you to the FAS and the organising committee for putting together such a wonderful evening.”
