Community & Grassroots

Community & Grassroots Football refers to any level of organised (activities conducted by clubs, academies or any bodies including schools and companies) or unorganised footballing activity, that take place at public/private sports venues and spaces or any open areas. These include activities such as:

  • Individual football training for fitness or skills;
  • Football activities with members of immediate household;
  • Football activities with members outside of immediate household.

For Players and Coaches
  • No more than 5 individuals (inclusive of coach) should be involved in organised football trainings.
  • No more than 5 individuals should be involved in football trainings for unorganised football trainings.
  • Social distancing of at least 2 metres shall be implemented within members of the same group.
  • Social distancing of at least 3 metres shall be implemented between different groups.
  • There will be no inter-mixing of players and coaches between groups.
  • Regular breaks are to be provided for the purpose of rehydrating and hand sanitising.
