The independent panel appointed by the FAS presented the case to the Disciplinary Committee in the presence of the players accompanied by their club officials. A total of 10 players were charged of which three players admitted to their charges while the remaining disputed theirs.

As a result, the Committee will convene again on Thursday 14 December 2017 for further hearing.

The FAS reiterates that the Association does not condone any ungentlemanly behaviour and misconduct that taints the name of our sport, and brings it into disrepute.
