About:

The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) Grassroots Certificate Coaching Course is a standalone course that equips participants with the basic knowledge and skills to coach and develops young players at the Grassroots level.

 

This course is targeted at youths (18 years and above), volunteer coaches and working adults who aspire or are committed to educating and developing young players aged between six (6) to nine (9) years old.

 

There is no pre-requisite for this course. However, course participants are required to be physically fit to participate in physical activities (such as passing and running with the ball) during the course.

 

Course Summary:

The duration of the FAS Grassroots Coaching Course consists of a total of 32 hours, which comprises 16 hours of theory and practical components (in-course) and 16 hours of coaching attachment (post-course), which are as follows:

Certification:

Upon completion of the course requirements, course participants will be issued with a FAS Grassroots Coaching certificate from FAS.

 

Do note that this is not an entry-level course that leads to other coaching certifications.
