Fareez Farhan replaces Faris Ramli in Lions squad
SINGAPORE, 17 NOVEMBER 2019 – Singapore National Team Coach Tatsuma Yoshida has called up Fareez Farhan to replace Faris Ramli in the 22-strong squad to face Yemen in their fifth Group D match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup 2023 Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 2 campaign this week.
Terengganu FC forward Faris, 27, is unable to link up with the Lions due to an urgent family matter. Geylang International FC attacker Fareez, 25, has two caps to his name and joined the squad yesterday in Bahrain.
The Lions will play Yemen on Tuesday, 19 November in Muharraq.
The match against Yemen will be broadcast LIVE online on Mediacorp’s Toggle platform at toggle.sg.
