FAS Disciplinary Committee Reaches Verdict Case involving Yishun Sentek Mariners FC and SAFSA
SINGAPORE, 31 JANUARY 2018: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) Disciplinary Committee reached a verdict on the case involving National Football League (NFL) Division One clubs Yishun Sentek Mariners FC and SAFSA on Monday 29 January 2018, and the Notice of Decision was officially issued to the clubs and players today.
As the case touches upon grave indiscipline, all available evidence was reviewed and studied by the FAS Disciplinary Committee. The Committee convened a total of five times before reaching a verdict.
Clubs are allowed to submit an appeal against the decisions within seven working days from the date that the Notice of Decision is issued to the clubs and players.

Yishun Sentek Mariners FC was fined S$10,000. The sum of S$5,000 is to be paid, while the remaining S$5,000 will be suspended so long as the club is not found guilty of any similar misconduct in 2018 in any FAS sanctioned tournament or competition. The club also will have five points deducted in the 2018 NFL competition. A further five points will be deducted in the event the club is found guilty of any similar misconduct in 2018 in any FAS sanctioned tournament or competition.
SAFSA players Al Nazirul Islam and Gerald Ang were given four-month suspensions from playing or participating in all FAS sanctioned tournaments or competitions, which will take effect from the date of commencement of the 2018 NFL competition, and a S$300 fine each.
Yishun Sentek Mariners FC players Haziq Sudhir and Zulfadhli Suzliman were given four-month suspensions from playing or participating in all FAS sanctioned tournaments or competitions, which will take effect from the date of commencement of the 2018 NFL competition, and a $300 fine each.
Yishun Sentek Mariners FC players Azlan Razak, Fawwaz Anuar, Muhaimin Mansor were given six-month suspensions from playing or participating in all FAS sanctioned tournaments or competitions, which will take effect from the date of commencement of the 2018 NFL competition, and a S$500 fine each.
Yishun Sentek Mariners FC player Zul Feshal was given a twelve-month suspension from playing or participating in all FAS sanctioned tournaments or competitions, which will take effect from the date of commencement of the 2018 NFL competition, and a S$500 fine.
Yishun Sentek Mariners FC players Hidayat Rohaizad and Sharil Jupri were given fifteen-month suspensions from playing or participating in all FAS sanctioned tournaments or competitions, which will take effect from the date of commencement of the 2018 NFL competition, and a S$1,000 fine each.
