FAS’ reply to media queries on Australia’s membership into AFF
The Football Association of Singapore welcomes Australia into the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) family. We believe that the inclusion of the Football Federation Australia will help raise the standards of football in the ASEAN region both on and off the field, and we look forward to working closely with Football Federation Australia in the years to come.
FAS understands that the Football Federation Australia will undertake a phased approach towards their involvement in AFF tournaments, beginning with their participation in AFF youth tournaments.
