FAS’ reply to Media Queries on fan not being allowed entry into Bishan Stadium on 21/01/2014
We greatly appreciate the support of our fans who turn up on match days and we are always working with our partners to enhance the match-day experience for our fans.
At the same time, the safety of our fans is of paramount importance to us. As part of our safety and security measures, security personnel will conduct checks at the entrances of the stadium. The list of prohibited items include, but are not limited to, flag poles, whistles, sharp objects, chemicals, air horns, helmets, smoking, bottles, flares, glasses, musical instruments, pets, naked fires, laser pointers and masks.
We appreciate efforts by our fans to further enhance the match-day atmosphere through various initiatives, including dressing up as mascots. However, we seek their understanding and assistance to register with FAS before the match so that we can consider the requests. Ultimately, our objective is to enhance the match-day experience for our fans and players, while also ensuring the safety of everyone at the stadium.
