FAS’ reply to media query on AFF Suzuki Cup ticketing

Share

We are humbled and encouraged to see so many Singaporeans wanting to support the Lions in their crucial Suzuki Cup match against Malaysia at the National Stadium. The response has been overwhelming with almost 85 percent of tickets already sold as of 6pm today (Friday). As tickets are moving briskly, we encourage Singapore fans to buy their tickets as soon as possible to avoid being disappointed.

When we planned our ticket prices for the Suzuki Cup, we did so with the aim of making the matches affordable for as many people as possible. This includes students, senior citizens and families. This is why we came up with concession rates of $8 for students aged 16 and below and senior citizens aged 60 and above for the first time. A family of four can also watch a game for under $48. Discounts up to 30 percent are also being offered for all tickets.

Finally, we are sorry to hear that some fans had their views blocked during the earlier matches. We will work closely with the Singapore Sports Hub to continuously improve our fans’ match-day experience at the National Stadium.

We look forward to Singapore fans turning up in full force tomorrow and turning the National Stadium into a roaring sea of red. The fans are the Lions’ 12th Man and their passionate support will certainly give our Lions a huge lift tomorrow.
