FAS Under-15 International Challenge Cup Returns For Second Edition
SINGAPORE, 15 NOVEMBER 2017: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) will be organising the second Under-15 International Challenge Cup this November. The group-stage matches will be held from 25-28 November, and the semi-finals will be held on 30 November. The third place play-off and the final will be held on 1 December.
This year, the tournament will feature three local sides – National Football Academy (NFA) U15, Singapore Sports School U15 and a Centre of Excellence (COE) Combined Team. They will be joined by five foreign Under-15 teams, namely the Mauritius Under-15 National Team, St Monica’s College (Australia), Johor Darul Ta’zim FC (Malaysia), Matsumoto Yamaga FC (Japan) and last year’s champions PVF (Vietnam).
The preliminary round matches will be held at Singapore Sports School, while the semi-finals and final will be held at Jalan Besar Stadium.
The eight teams participating in the tournament have been drawn into two groups:
