Football Team Selected To Participate In Sea Games 2015
SINGAPORE, 27 JANUARY 2015: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is pleased that our Under-23 National Team has been selected by the Singapore National Olympic Committee (SNOC) to participate in this year’s Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, the first to be held on home soil in 20 years. We are heartened by their continued faith in us, and aim to do Singapore proud.
“We are in Turkey now on a training tour as part of our preparations for the SEA Games. It has been hard work and we have tough matches lined up, but the most important thing is for the boys to learn from every match we play here and for them to bond as a team. We are grateful for the opportunity to have training tours like this, and look forward to the rest of our preparations in the lead-up to June,” said Aide Iskandar, Head Coach of the Under-23 National Team.
The squad for the SEA Games will be finalised at a later date, and will be announced in due course.
