Identification trials for boys born in 2016 open during November school holidays
SINGAPORE, 3 OCTOBER 2023 –The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) will be holding national identification trials between 20 to 22 November 2023 for Singaporean citizens and permanent residents (males) born in 2016.
As part of the Unleash the Roar project, the trials will serve to identify talented players to join the FAS/UTR U8 Junior Development Centre training groups. The trials will be held at Jalan Besar Stadium during the aforementioned dates. Details on the venue, dates and timings of trials can be seen in the table below.

Parents can register their children for the trials using this Google Form link. Please note that each timeslot will have a maximum limit of 60 players. Those who have registered will receive a confirmation email within 3 working days after the final registration date, which has been extended to Sunday, November 12, 2023.
Note:
- The Talent Identification department will not facilitate any request to change your chosen day or slots after you have registered.
- When registering your child, please make sure to register with TWO different emails(to secure that you receive our information shared through our email: [email protected]).
- If you do not register via the form, your child will not be allowed to take part in the trials.
- If your child aren’t able to join the above trial dates, we can inform you that next round of trials for these age groups, will be during school holidays, March 2024.
- Parents are allowed to observe from the stands, however they are not allowed to enter the field, or provide comments/speak to the players during the trials
- All players are reminded to bring their training gear, boots, shin pads, gloves (for goalkeepers) and a water bottle.
