Lionesses squad announced for Indonesia friendly
A return to international action beckons next week at home

SINGAPORE, 3 OCTOBER 2022 – Singapore Women’s National Team Head Coach Stephen Ng today named a squad of 22 players for the FIFA international window this month.
The Lionesses will play host to Indonesia on 10 October in an international ‘A’ friendly at the Jalan Besar Stadium, marking a return to action since their ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Women’s Championship 2022 campaign in July.
Balestier Khalsa goalkeeper Izyan Ahmad has earned her maiden senior call-up and will have the opportunity to make her debut, together with Tiong Bahru FC forward Clara Lau. There is also a return to the squad for Lau’s club-mate Rochelle Chan, who last featured for Singapore in July 2018 at the AFF Women’s Championship 2018.
The squad will start centralised training today evening in preparation for the encounter with 101st-ranked Indonesia – whom they beat in their most recent fixture with a 2-0 win in the final group match at the AFF Women’s Championship 2022.
Kick-off will be at 8pm and ticketing details will be announced later this week.
