SINGAPORE, 25 MAY 2016: The Football Association of Singapore today announced the National Under-21 squad which will participate in the inaugural Nations Cup 2016.

We have assembled a squad of young and talented players – with an average age of 19.5 Рwho are looking forward to this opportunity to play against their counterparts from Southeast Asia.”

Adam Swandi, who has been called up for the Under-21 National Team, said:  ‚ÄúInternational matches will allow us to test ourselves and learn from our opponents, and we are pleased to be participating in the Nations Cup. Our Under-21 team comprises players from the various S.League clubs and I am confident that we will grow stronger as a team in the leadup to next year‚Äôs SEA Games. We understand that arrangements have been made for fans to travel to Malacca to support us, and we will do our best in both matches.‚Äù
