NFL Team And Players Sanctioned For Misconduct And Bringing The Game Into Disrepute
SINGAPORE, 8 AUGUST 2014: National Football League (NFL) Division Two club Bishan Barx FC and seven of its players have been found guilty of misconduct and bringing the game into disrepute following a hearing by the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) Disciplinary Committee.
The charges were for an incident that took place at the end of the National Football League (NFL) Division Two match between Bishan Barx FC and Siglap CSC held on 7 June 2014.
The penalties for the seven players are as follow:

6 match suspension in playing in the National Football League |

5 match suspension in playing in the National Football League |
The penalty for the club is as follows:
Bishan Barx FC |
5-point deduction in respect of the NFL Division 2 League 2014, plus a fine of $1,000 |
Until the suspensions are completed and fines (if applicable) are paid, the respective players are ineligible to play in any FAS sanctioned games/matches and tournaments. The team will also not be allowed to continue their participation in the National Football League and the FA Cup 2014 until the club’s fine has been paid.
