Registration for FAS-CGH Basic Sports Trainer Course is now open [CLOSED]
SINGAPORE, 29 JULY 2023 – A collaboration has been established between the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) and Changi General Hospital (CGH) to organise the upcoming Basic Sports Trainer Course. The course is targeted at Singapore Premier League, Singapore Football League, Women’s Premier League, and Women’s National League officials.
Course Objectives: The Basic Sports Trainer Course aims to ensure that sports teams have appropriately trained personnel capable of providing immediate assistance and managing acute injuries. By equipping individuals with these vital skills, the course seeks to prioritize the well-being of players and create a safer sporting environment.
Course Details:
- Maximum Number of Course Participants: 20
- Dates: 17-19 August (Full 3 days)
- Course fees: $592 (Not SkillsFuture claimable)
Minimum Entry Requirements:
- Participants must possess a valid Standard First Aid, CPR and AED.
- Recommended for: Participants with sports science or related medical background.
Preparation: Participants are requested to bring writing materials for individual and group discussions, presentations, and assessments. Comfortable sports attire is advised, as practical exercises and demonstrations will be a part of the training.
Interested course participants are to access the Google Form link here to indicate their interest and provide us with their details. The closing date for the application is on 02 August 2023. Only 20 shortlisted course participants will be notified by 04 August 2023.
