SINGAPORE, 27 MARCH 2018: Singapore has been drawn in Group B for the Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy for ASEAN Youth Football Tournament, and will face Laos and Cambodia in the group stage which will take place from 23 April to 30 April 2018.

Head Coach Fandi Ahmad will be leading an Under-21 squad for the tournament.

He said: “Every match we play now will be crucial in our preparations for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, and this tournament will aid me in evaluating the players’ individual performances. The squad I called up to face the Indonesia Under-23 National Team comprised 15 players who can play in this U21 tournament, and I will be keeping a lookout for more promising youth players as the Singapore Premier League season kicks off. We will be doing our best and going all out for a win in the tournament.”
