Singapore Football Family To Pay Respects To Mr Lee Kuan Yew
SINGAPORE, 26 MARCH 2015: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) would like to inform the public that the Singapore football family will be paying its respects to founding Prime Minister Mr Lee Kuan Yew at 10am tomorrow, 27 March 2015, at Toa Payoh Central Community Club, one of the designated tribute centres.
FAS president Mr Zainudin Nordin will be leading the group which will be made up of players and staff from the FAS and Great Eastern-Yeo’s S.League clubs
The S.League will be represented by 198 players and officials from Balestier Khalsa FC, Geylang International FC, Home United FC, Hougang United FC, Tampines Rovers FC and Warriors FC. Players from the LionsXII, Courts Young Lions, National Football Academy and Centre of Excellence teams will also be in attendance, save for those representing the country overseas.
