Singapore Khalsa Association Takes Home NFL Division Two Trophy

SINGAPORE, 15 NOVEMBER 2018 – After seven months of intense competition, Singapore Khalsa Association was officially crowned National Football League (NFL) Division Two champions tonight at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

 

The champions received their trophy and prizes from Football Association of Singapore President Lim Kia Tong after their last match of the season, which saw them beat Jungfrau Punggol FC 9-1. Jungfrau Punggol FC finished third.

 

Following tonight’s win, Singapore Khalsa Association picked up a total of 50 points – seven points ahead of Warwick Knights FC who only have one match in hand. The first runners-up will be presented with their prizes at the FA Cup final this Sunday.

 

The 2018 NFL season kicked off on 29 April and will end on Saturday, 24 November after the final NFL Division Two match between Admiralty CSC and Warwick Knights FC. NFL Division One, which ended last month, saw Tiong Bahru FC claim the title.
