Singapore to take on Korea, China in AFC U19 qualifiers

SINGAPORE, 9 MAY 2019 – Singapore have been drawn against 2018 runners-up South Korea in their qualifying campaign for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-19 2020 Championship.
Held at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur earlier today, Fadzuhasny Juraimi’s charges were also pitted against China and hosts Myanmar in Group I.
Singapore will bid to qualify for the finals for a 19th time and the first time since 1978. The games will take place between 2 to 10 November.
Group winners will qualify directly for the finals – the host is yet to be determined – and the four best runners-up will join them.
