Singapore To Play Against Hong Kong, Macau And Bahrain
SINGAPORE, 18 SEPTEMBER 2014: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is pleased to announce that the National Team will be playing three friendly matches in October and November, as part of the final phase of their preparations for the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup.
Singapore will face Hong Kong (HK) on 10 October 2014, Macau on 14 October 2014 and Bahrain on 7 November 2014. All three matches will be played away.
“We are looking forward to facing three teams with different qualities as we prepare to defend the AFF Suzuki Cup. Playing these matches will definitely benefit us as the team will not only become even more familiar with one another, but will also be keeping themselves sharp and their match fitness up,” said Bernd Stange, Head Coach, National Teams.
The squad lists for the matches will be announced at a later date.
