SINGAPORE, 5 FEBRUARY 2015: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is pleased to announce that the Under-23 National Team will be playing a friendly match against the Japan Under-22 National Team on Saturday 14 February at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

This match serves as part of the Under-23s’ preparations for this year’s Southeast Asian (SEA) Games to be held on home soil, and follows a recent training tour to Turkey where the team played four matches, including a 1-1 draw with the Uzbekistan Under-21 National Team.

“We had a very productive time in Turkey, where the boys got to train and play intensively with no distractions. This match against the Japan Under-22s will be another stern test for us, which will only do us good as we prepare for the SEA Games in June,” said Aide Iskandar, Head Coach of the Under-23 National Team.

Ticketing details and the squad for the match will be announced at a later time.
