Stags To Return To Tampines This Friday
SINGAPORE, 26 JULY 2017: The Football Association of Singapore today announced that Tampines Rovers FC will host Brunei DPMM FC in their Great Eastern-Hyundai S.League match at Our Tampines Hub’s Town Square on Friday 28 July 2017 at 7.30pm.
The match marks the team’s much-anticipated return to Tampines, after last playing at the old Tampines Stadium in 2011. In the intervening years, they have been playing their “home” matches at Clementi Stadium (2012-2014) and Jurong West Stadium (since 2014).
Their homecoming will kick off with a curtain raiser match between the Tampines Rovers FC Legends and a People’s Association/Sport Singapore team at 5.30pm. Attending the event will be Guest of Honour Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources; Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC and Mayor, North East CDC Mr Desmond Choo; Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC Ms Cheng Li Hui; Second Adviser for Tampines Central GRC Mr Sin Boon Ann; as well as Chairman of Our Tampines Hub’s Advisory Board Mr Mah Bow Tan.
Admission to the match is complimentary for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents. Tickets will be available for collection at the Public Service Centre, Level 1, Our Tampines Hub on a first-come, first-served basis from 5.30pm onwards.
