SINGAPORE, 9 MAY 2024 – Still Aerion FC player Sunisa Srangthaisong has had her automatic four-match suspension lifted with immediate effect. The suspension was the result of a direct red card shown to Srangthaisong for violent conduct during Still Aerion’s Deloitte Women’s Premier League match against Geylang International FC on Sunday, 5 May 2024.

Still Aerion had subsequently submitted an appeal against the suspension on 7 May 2024. The appeal was upheld by the FAS, following a thorough review using video footage of the match by the FAS Referees Technical Panel. The Panel had concluded that the action of the said player did not merit to a violent conduct charge, and as such the suspension should not be applied.
