Tatsuma calls up 25 players for National Team training
MONDAY, 2 MARCH 2020 – National Team Coach Tatsuma Yoshida has called up 25 players from the Singapore Premier League (SPL) for two upcoming training sessions.
The Japanese tactician will cast his eye over these local-based players – from across six SPL clubs – during the morning sessions on 3 and 10 March.
The training sessions are part of Tatsuma’s preparations for the Lions’ two Group D matches later this month in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup 2023 Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 2.
Singapore are set to play Palestine away on 26 March before returning home to face Saudi Arabia on 31 March at the National Stadium.
With three games left, Tatsuma’s charges are placed third, two points behind leaders Uzbekistan.
Please note that the sessions are not to be considered as official call-ups.
