Singapore moves to second round of World Cup qualification
Ticket sales for match against Thailand at the National Stadium to go on sale at noon on 21 October
SINGAPORE, 19 OCTOBER 2023 – After securing a 3-1 aggregate win over Guam in the opening round of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Preliminary Joint Qualification, Singapore will now advance to Round 2 which begins next month.
The Lions have been placed in Group C alongside China, South Korea, and Thailand and will kick off the second round of their World Cup and Asian Cup qualifiers campaign against South Korea away on Thursday, 16 November before hosting Thailand five days later at the Singapore National Stadium on Tuesday, 21 November. The fixtures will resume during March and June international windows next year.
Match Ticket Sales
Ticket sales for the match against Thailand will commence this Saturday, 21 October 2023, and can be purchased via the FAS and Sistic websites from 12pm. An early bird promotion period will run till 29 October, during which fans can purchase adult tickets at a discounted price of S$15 each, while concession tickets will be available for only S$6 each. Additionally, a special family bundle promotion will also be offered during this period, where fans can purchase four tickets consisting of a pair of adult tickets and a pair of concession tickets, at a bundled price of S$36. Following the conclusion of both the early bird and family bundle promotions, ticket prices will revert to S$25 for adults and S$10 for concessions. Each person is allowed to purchase a maximum of twelve tickets per transaction, across any category.
Match tickets may also be purchased onsite at the Singapore Sports Hub Box Office located at Kallang Wave Mall, on match day from 2:30 pm until 9:15 pm; however, this will be strictly subject to availability. Hence, fans are highly encouraged to purchase their tickets early and via the online sales channel to avoid the queues on match day.
