Training Matches For National Team Confirmed
SINGAPORE, 19 JULY 2016: The Football Association of Singapore is pleased to confirm the details of the National Team’s training matches in Japan. Aside from the previously-announced friendly match against J1 League side Albirex Niigata FC on 24 July, the team will also be playing training matches against the Niigata University of Health and Welfare (NUHW) on 20 July and the Japan Soccer College (JSC) on 21 July.
JSC is Albirex Niigata’s satellite team and plays in the top regional Hokushinetsu Football League, while NUHW competes in the Hokushinetsu Regional University League.
Following the training camp in Niigata, the National Team will then travel to Phnom Penh to play an ‘A’ international friendly against Cambodia on 28 July.
