SINGAPORE, 23 MARCH 2022 – Iqram Rifqi and M. Anumanthan will not be involved with the Singapore Men’s National Team for the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) Tri-Nations Series 2022 tournament which starts today.

 

Defender Iqram, 26, has pulled out after testing positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday, while midfielder Anumanthan, 27, has withdrawn from the squad due to a family emergency.

 

Coach Nazri Nasir has elected not to call up any replacements and the remaining 24 players will continue preparations for the clash with Malaysia on 26 March and the Philippines on 29 March.

 

Tickets for both matches, which kick off at 8pm at the National Stadium, Singapore Sports Hub are available for purchase at fas.org.sg/tickets.
